SmartPower is a small and effective little application which helps your laptop save its power reserves. It does this by automatically putting it into hibernation mode in case there hasn't been activity.
Everything about this program can be customized. Whether or not you want to set your computer to hibernate (or sleep) after one minute or whether it is a longer period, you can customize it.
Another thing about SmartPower is its grace timer which gives you a default 5 minutes to know before your computer is scheduled to sleep.

SmartPower is provided under a freeware license on Windows from PC utilities with no restrictions on usage. Download and installation of this PC software is free and 1.6.0 is the latest version last time we checked.
What version of Windows can SmartPower run on?
SmartPower can be used on a computer running Windows 11 or Windows 10. Previous versions of the OS shouldn't be a problem with Windows 8 and Windows 7 having been tested. It comes in both 32-bit and 64-bit downloads.
